The simple rules of Dragon Tiger
Dragon Tiger is a card game that has existed for centuries in the Asian gaming industry. Similar to a two card Baccarat version, it is very popular among players, mainly due to its very simple rules.
Indeed, you only have to know the traditional pecking order of cards to play it. In addition, in Evolution Gaming’s live dealer version the player only has to bet at the beginning, in order to determine the outcome of the game.
In this case, the dealer draws, at each game, two cards from the shoe: one for the Dragon on the left, and the other for the Tiger on the right. While betting, the player must bet on the Tiger’s card, the Dragon’s card or on a tie. Note that the shoe comprises 8 card games without the jokers, or 52 cards per game.
Bets and Payments
On this table, the player has, at each game, three options: to bet on the Tiger, on the Dragon or on a draw. In the first two cases, if the player wins, he gets a payment of twice his initial bet. In other words, he gets back his initial bet plus one time its amount.
In the case of a tie, the payment varies according to whether it is just two cards of the same value or two similar cards. In the first case (ace of spades and ace of heart for example), the player gets half of his stake to which is added a payment of 11: 1.
In the second case (two aces for example), the gain is half of the initial bet plus a payout of 50: 1. The possibilities of gains are therefore quite important at each game. But of course, it depends on the amount bet. Here it ranges from 1 to $10,000 per game.
